Once again, since this seems to be such a hard thing for people to grasp. No reasonable person thinks all cops are bad cops. The problems are that bad cops get support & good cops get fired when they try to stop bad cops. That good cops can be corrupted by the amount of bad cops or the pressure to fit in. That their training is designed to tell them they are at war with the people of the country & that they are under constant death threats & need to be ready to shoot to kill AND emotionally move past that. If we start dealing with those issues, bad cops will vanish & good cops would shine.

From Canada here, but I find it sad that when talking to my police officer friend I asked how she was and she said she'd had a really long week, I asked "Putting away lots of bad guys?" and her response was "4 dirty cops, and one tow truck driver." It's got to be pretty disheartening when 80% of your job is going after your own workforce and peers.

Good policing would include holding bad policing accountable imo. Just because there are good cops it doesn’t mean the system isn’t broken.

Few bad apples is bs. There is a whole tree of rotten apples that steps from the top, and good cops should report bad cops, but it doesn't happen. All rotten in my opinion, the whole system.

Sad to say this isn't new. I actually met Frank Serpico when I was a kid in the 70"s. Far to few good cop's will cross that blue line.

I like Jon but if good cops didn't support police unions we wouldn't have to endure bad cops. Police accountability is possibly the root of most problems in America.
