It may be used, but it's new to you! Buying a pre-owned vehicle is a smart way to get all the thrills and perks of a brand new car at a fraction of the price. This Porsche Boxster came in to the shop in need of some TLC. Every area from the exterior paintwork, to the soft convertible top roof, to the perforated leather seats needs to be cleaned, restored, and protected against the elements.

Convertible top care is not something every detailer knows about. Using the wrong product can cause extra stains, fading, and discoloration to cloth and synthetic vinyl convertible tops.

The Chemical Guys Convertible Top care line uses gentle colorless and odorless cleaners to remove contamination and restore a new look and feel to convertible top materials.

Convertible Top Cleaner

Choosing the right tool makes all the difference in the world. Use a soft horsehair brush like the Chemical Guys Convertible Top Brush to remove deep set-in dirt, filth, and grime from fabric soft tops without damaging any sensitive fabric materials.

Convertible Top Horsehair Brush

Shield cloth tops against fading from UV light and stains from pollution and water infiltration with Chemical Guys Convertible Top Protectant. The specialty fabric guard bonds into cloth strands to create a waterproof shield. This repellent action helps prevent water from staining damaging convertible top roofing materials and keep tops looking newer for longer.

That awkward moment when the stain you were trying to clean is still there after you "clean" it...

I would mask off the painted areas around the top

What would be cool to see is a Full detail but on a car that might be impossible for some people. Like a true detailing challenge. That be cool to see

Disliked. The stain was still there. The roof was not clean and not dry and now there's protectant on it? Not cool, guys.

stop trying to hire new people for these videos. i've watched 80% of all your guy's videos and I can safely say that Alex, Matt, Greg, and the few others are the best hosts you can have for these videos. just my 2 cents from a loyal viewer

The guy did good but man the videos haven't been so good lately brand new clean cars just aren't what everyone has I know for one I don't bring in a old work truck and let us see the magic.

Why use a brand new car? Show us what you can do on older cars 👎🏼

Man in pyjamas does a shocking job cleaning a roof. These latest videos are more for advertising your products not how to clean a car; on that note, the roof stain is still evident after the beardy wierdy wiped it over with whatever you are trying to sell.

This video sucks. He didn't even remove the stain. So why spray protectant on it if it's not even clean?
