VW MK8 Golf R KLR Steering Wheel Module Install

After a year of ownership of my Mk8 Golf R, I finally got the dreaded Travel Assist error. Instead of waiting 5+ months for a new steering wheel from VW I opted to purchase this module from Anthony at ACM Technik.
Not only does this module fix travel assist errors, it also increases the hands free time while using steering assist. A great little buy and a super easy install.

Hey considering going this route. Had my my steering wheel replaced about a year ago and started getting error codes the past 1-2 months. Have you had an issues since you installed the chip?

I installed on my formentor and still asks me to put the hands on the steering wheel, but now its unable to detect my hands.

Anther reason to wait for the next generation with a new steering wheel.

I don't think this will work, Volkswagen has recognized that it is the steering wheel itself, which is why new steering wheels have been released.
They are not going to invest millions in new steering wheels when such a cheap solution is offered.
