Finally we get to some structural design of the UWS-4 Ultralight Airplane design. Dan Raymer's boook "Simiplified Aircraft Design for Homebuilder's" gives some really good advice on how to get started you airplane structural design and we use his advice on the UWS-4.

Hi Leon, I was surprised that after 2 years of composite samples, your baseline structure is now aluminum! As I work through structural trades on my ultralight glider, I'm stunned at how long it really takes to do well, And I don't spend the time to make the videos. Well done. -Peter Hudson-

Leon, How did you model the fuselage frame in VSP? What geometric component do you use.
