I remember when Jenny from the block came out I was in 8th grade and had just got back to the PNW from NYC (where I was born) and I absolutely LOVED JLO! She was definitely one of my idol’s growing up.

She helped me have a lot of self respect growing up and not being ashamed of coming up in poverty, but still having the strength to reach for the stars and never let anything or anyone stand between you and your dreams.

Screw the Leo’s are meant to shine baby!!! We got that in common too! Plus being Latina!!!
