Let's take this in order of importance
1)You should have healed one and kept that ability on your Doctor unexhausted since you killed the enemy with it.
2)Wasn't the rule on level ups that you could pick one level above you at random but if you didn't, you got to pick your level or below's skill? Not sure why you could pick two level 3 skills while the other two had to pick level 2s all at random. That would be beneficial as I'm not a fan of either level 2 skill.
3)I get why you should keep the cubes in the crypt, especially with that power/skill you picked up, but man, that runs right up to the line on fiddly. It means 2 instead of 1, nothing more or less than that. If things didn't go bad when you hit 3 or 4, I could see the importance, but you're removing them almost every other turn.
4)I read that card the exact same way you do, but the game is impossible if you read it that way. There's only 1 AOE spell you have (Knight should have cleave btw, game developers) so you can't possibly get through the front-line mob before those Threat-monsters ended the game. That makes at least that room unplayable if you read it literally which surely wasn't what the devs meant, unless they just wanted to make a challenger to Ghost Stories in most-unwinable game ever. :p
5)Weren't the treasures determined by the number in the center of the card right below the room name? I thought it said 2.
