If the shift bug is still a thing, I recommend going to settings and under warnings enable minimum item needed for drop item warning. And setting it to like 25k.

Another way to avoid this bug is to set shift click on important items to USE

This isn’t a new bug, it’s happened since the inventory rework. Sae bae also made a video about how it’s been in the game for months, along with other things.

btw that shift click drop bug does not happen with the "resizable - modern" layout. only the two classic layouts

I tried it out and was able to replicate it (I'm sure many people figured it out too):
Press F key+ shift, let go of buttons. Press escape button and let go. Now your left click will be drop. if you click the inventory manually, the drop option won't be there but when you press escape, the drop option will be there.

So be careful everyone.

A little tip at baba when you are too far away from a boulder to counter that rock throw. You can also step next to one of the sacrophagi. It does a bit more damage but still largely blocks the attack

This drop bug has been in the game for months now and jagex hasn't bothered to fix it. It came into the game when they redid the inventory.

I personally think that, like the alchemy warnings, players should be able to set a value threshold and an untradeable warning as *separate warnings*.

Still, everyone set your drop warnings to like 20k, and you shouldn't ever run into issues.

Dude that happened to me 3 times recently.. thought I was going crazy. Almost dropped my rapier twice and fang once but the item drop warning saved me.

fyi the shift click bug has been around since they updated how inventory works months ago.

Only 100% fix is to shift RIGHT click all of your gear on runelite and swap drop option with wear option when shift leftclicking.

I swear the drop glitch has been going around for a while. Few months I go dropped half my switches when in a pvp fight
