In this behind the scenes vlog, I take y'all along on a (super awkward) day in my life of shooting and modeling for a lookbook. Along the way, I showcase my subpar vlogging skills, my ratchet camera setup, and how I find locations for shooting fashion videos.

I hope this answers some of you your questions about how I make my videos and what my ~youtube life~ is like! I also hope I can inspire some of you guys to get out there and shoot some fashion videos or outfit photos because it's totally possible to do it all by yourself! :)

8:40 I think incorporating more scenery shots, like this, would be a great break up of showing outfits, as well as, set up the vibe you are going for. You do such a great job already, just thought I'd throw that idea out there.

I love your realness. being in front of any camera is a tremendously awkward experience. When you have an audience you haven't invited watching your show slackjawed and judgy while you're trying to film/shoot... so much worse!! And you're right there is so much work that goes into all this - it's one of the reasons i've made videos ever since youtube started - because it's fun... but also never stuck with it... cos it's so. much. work. Unless people have had a stab at this themselves they have no idea what's actually involved.

I always knew that shooting and editing videos was a lot of work, but it's nice that you took us along with you to show us exactly how much work it is and how you manage it. You're also so self sufficient! I think that's really cool and actually wish that I had gotten into youtubing when I was younger. After watching some of your other videos too you inspired me to start reselling some of my old clothing and maybe even try out the thrifting-resell path so I'm excited to see how it turns out!

You are in that "not-famous-yet" youtuber stage but I am sure you would be big one day. But i kinda prefer this stage of you than those big famous ytbers who just shoot for sponsors and tedious "vlogs" to product premieres. wt i want to say is you are in the best stage of your youtube career until you are corrupted by fame and money, so enjoy while it lasts :)
