Scenes from Belgrade, Serbia protest & dispersal via alleged 'sonic attack' | Raw video

Video via CNN Newsource.
Video geolocated by CNN shows dozens of anti-corruption protesters in the Serbian capital Belgrade fleeing on Saturday after hearing a loud rushing noise. Calls are mounting in Serbia for an independent investigation into reports that security forces allegedly used a prohibited sonic weapon on protesters last weekend. Serbian officials have denied using such a military-grade device to disperse the rally, saying that the use of a "sound cannon" is illegal in a statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to Earshot, a London-based audio investigative not-for-profit organization, at least four videos they've reviewed from the incident "contain a sound consistent with the noise produced by a Vortex Ring Gun or Vortex Cannon," the group wrote on X. The devices described by Earshot are non-lethal sonic weapons designed for crowd control.
CNN cannot independently verify either claim.
