As a former SF first Lt., just some correction.
First at all, not all T91 get the G33 magnifier.Only the team leader get it, others just Mro red dot.
The SAW is FN Minimi not Taiwan T75, SF only get Minimi.And all the SAW will have a 4x scope like ACOG or other brand product.
Snipers in 6-man team won't get T108 bolt-action rifle, they equipped another T108 semi-auto marksman rifle, but the semi-auto one is too difficult to the Taiwan MND to manufacture .T108 bolt-action rifle is belong to snipers in HQ company.Both T108 is going to replace LWRCI P.E.P.R.-20 in HQ company and T91 with a 8x scope for snipers in Special operations company . By the way, both T108 are trash.
Those M107A1 Anti-material sniper rifle are belong to Sniper company. Sniper company is a independent company below Special operations Command.Just like a Special Service but not elite like them.

For the hostage rescue part, the convential ROC army SF squad is not quite suitable for that, these part is the Airborne Special Service Company (Aka ASSC) expertise . Most military branch's special service company in ROC are training including counter-terrorism operation .

IIRC, the Army counterterrorism/Special Mission Unit is Airborne Special Service Company (ASSC), and there was also a sniper Company under control of the HQ. There's also the 101 Amphibious Recon Battalion, and Special Operations units in the Military Police and Marine Corps. One more detail, the 75th Ranger Regiment's RRC works for JSOC and performs Advance Force Operations along side of CAG, DEVGRU, etc. The more traditional rcon missions are now handled by the Ranger battalions Recce Platoons.
