When I try to play Minecraft on my PS5, it loads and then says please wait and then says an error message has appeared saying that Minecraft cannot work on ps5

When you download the game, just do not download updates and youll not get bedrock edition thats what i did and now i can play Legacy on my ps5

its really sad but the edition button doesn't really make the game like before it just put a shader that change the way that the game look there are no old textures no old village its like if it was just minecraft bedrock with the old menu and option so if you really want the old game you need a ps3 but still good thing to have the old minigames

I am about to buy a disc of the legacy version of ps4 but I have ps5 and I am afraid that the bedrock will download and I will not be able to use the legacy, I am afraid that the options button will not appear on ps5, I do not know what to do, help

What would happen if you deleted it and turned off wifi so it couldn’t update would that go back to its original update?? If you inserted the disc again. Im asking because when i had a ps4 i did that and it worked and showed the update where cows had different sounds so before 2015 im pretty sure.
