Come along with the Undiscovered Classics team to the 2023 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, Part 3!

Here it is, the big day, the actual Concours and what a day it was for all of us. We were up around 3:30am and on the road about an hour later, arriving several hours before dawn for an experience like no other. Thanks to Robin and Chris James for driving us down in their trust Chevy Lumina Dustbuster.

Once we were on site, the first stop was the transportation lot to unload and prep the 1955 Debonnaire and when we arrived, the line up of gorgeous cars had already started. We checked in with our friends Dennis and Karen Kazmerowski at their 1958 LeMans Coupe and got right to work. We ran into a few issues with gas overflowing into the cabin of the car and a leaky wheel cylinder, but we made due and queued up to head to the show field.

While the distance from the transportation lot to the field wasn't that far, there was a lot of starts and stops along the way, made somewhat more stressful by fading brake pressure and a potential overheating. Thankfully, we made it to the lawn and without careening into any multi-million dollar cars ahead of us while traveling down hill.

All of the cars in our class were a big hit, especially the Debonnaire and the LeMans Coupe. You'll see Breaking Bad star, Aaron Paul totally enamored with the LeMans Coupe as it passed him by before reaching the lawn, be on the lookout for his reaction.

Once we got to the lawn, our day was just beginning so come along with us to experience the whole day!

Best video I've seen in quite a long time. Reminded me of walking the infield at VIR late 60s- early 70s, the cars, the smells, the sounds and the people. Great times.

This is the best video of Pebble Beach I have seen, and I've seen a lot. It conveys the absolute chaos of the show field in full swing. I would not want to put my rare multi-million dollar car through that mess. I enjoyed the morning stuff and drive to the field. I had a hot rod once and showed it frequently and ran into over heating all the time waiting in lines in the heat of summer. I enjoy the channel and remember lots of those forgotten fiberglass cars back in the day (usually under a tarp in the back yard) and love seeing them restored and running. Thanks.
