Gentle reminder to anyone frustrated by trying to do Bob Ross paintings. Bob used a wet on wet method (canvas was wet with white paint before he even started which helped with blending and creating all those softer elements like clouds) and cleaned his brushes with diluted paint thinner instead of water. About 90% of the problems people have following along stem from those two things

The beauty of Bob Ross is that he would look at their paintings, say they’re beautiful, and he would mean it

Ngl this is the most creative and fun Bob Ross vid I seen esp painting his paintings. Jude won for being funny but Bren’s looked really nice and look great but both of em did wonderful!

My favorite of the "painting Bob Ross paintings" genre. Hilarious, Jude and bren have been very prominent this season but I ain't complaining it is really funny. I've been a huge fan of the microwave society since the "we can be heroes" video and the quality has not stopped going up.

In case y'all decide to do this again: the paint might work better if you cover the canvas in liquid white beforehand like he does, I see a lot of people go in on dry canvases and sooo many of Bob's techniques are dependent on wet-on-wet
