50' Leading Edge Self-Retracting Lifeline - Malta Dynamics

A self-retracting lifeline is designed to limit the shock load to the body of a worker by limiting the distance of a fall. This makes them attractive pieces of equipment to use as a lifeline while working at heights, but not all fall hazards are the same. When working near a leading edge, a standard portable SRL is not an adequate choice. The components of most SRLs are not tested to stand up to the sharp edges that could be encountered when you tie-off at foot level. At Malta Dynamics, we have developed a range of leading edge fall protection systems to allow the worker to enjoy all the perks of using a self-retracting lifeline. The Leading Edge 50’ SRL with snap hook features a 360 swivel top connection point that allows the durable thermoplastic housing to rotate as you move and boasts a sturdy galvanized steel cable with built-in strike test grip. The SRL extends as the user moves away from the anchor point and retracts as the user moves back toward the anchorage point. The Malta Dynamics Leading Edge Self-Retracting Lifeline with Snap Hook is tested to meet the strict standards of ANSI Z359.14-2014, ANSI A10.32-12 and OSHA 1926 Subpart M and OSHA 1910.
