My man does this all the time. small things like walking on the side where there's traffic, walking in front of me when other people cross my path, holding my hand when crossing the street, locking the car doors when I get in at the gas stations and sitting facing the door at places and restaurants. makes me feel safe and protected and I don't have to be in survival mode like when I am going out alone.

This is very true with a lot of women, they become oblivious to the world when their man is around. An older couple were crossing the street and the light turned green for me and they were in the middle of the road. The woman had not a care in the world. Her husband kept looking at me and we acknowledged each other. The wife just kept on walking and talking.

TOTALLY UNDERSTAND. When it’s raining or snow on the ground, my husband turns into my dad. He’ll pull my hood over my head and will politely say “watch your step” so I won’t slip. He’ll hold my hand and guide me around water puddles or snow & ice patches. He’ll even hold my hand and guide me if we’re crossing a street with a lot of traffic, including walking through store parking lots. I find it cute and endearing ❤❤❤❤
