This is nore commun then you think. My cousin's father died a few days he was born.after the funeral His dad family never had nothing to do with my cousin.

1989 i was 10 at the time a cousin of mine accused me of touching him and his sister his mom assaulted me and kicked me out and demanded my mom and dad to kick me out as well (they didnt and just laughed at how insane she is ) family feud ensues and 1999 he admits he made it up for attention and demanded i talk it out with him.. 2023 i havent talked to him i didnt invite him or his mom to my 3 weddings or kids birthdays or any part of my life....

I know how that person feels my dad married my stepmom when I was very young and she was apart of my life for almost my whole life and then they divorced and it was like none of that ever happened she abused the hell out of me and brother but it still affects you to have anyone disappear from your life
