Lydrics:
The world waits for you and the dawn breaks for you
and the media will watch and she will change her mind

i try to win for you and i shed my skin for you and
i loved you like my own i fed you like a child

i stay in bed and feed the day with my imagination honey
falling through the cracks in people’s kindness
and the world won’t step aside

i tried to make you want me
i left my home at seventeen
but everywhere i looked i saw another me

and we are the invisibles plain and lonely
it’s funny how its always out of reach

i hear the wood pigeons and i call my father in
and he sits and hears me sing but never wonders why

why do i call out in the night he found the photos set alight
everything about her makes me want to smile

i’ll stay in bed and feed the day with my polite conversation father
papering the cracks in others’ silence
but i still won’t step aside

i tried to make her want me
i tried to play her politics
but every step i took i had to swallow this:

that we are the invisibles strange and lonely
it’s funny how it’s always out of reach
it’s funny how it’s always out of reach
funny how the world is out of reach

What a surprise. Saw Suede in 1992 in Seattle. Was astonishing. We all drank a lot of beer. It was a small club. The band mingled. I had a crush on Simon. He was super silly and I told him to jump in a cab with me and come over and have some beers. He took me up on it. Had a blast. What a sweetheart. And such a memorable time for me.

a long underrated band...they've been around since 92 or 93 releasing one excellent record after another..in the heat of the british invasion of the 90's there they were putting out songs like "We Are The Pigs" "Metal Mickey" "Europe Is Our Playground" "Trash" or "Everything Will Flow" to name just a few...for those who haven't heard the body of work of Suede i sincerely recommend you to go and listen..and you find much more than one pleasant surprise, , you'll have a real good time..THANX SUEDE! THIS TRACK IS BEAUTIFUL!!

Mr. Bowie would have loved it.
A superb track, easily the best thing Suede have issued in many years.

It could have been on DB's 1971 masterwork "Hunky Dory".
High praise indeed.

This is the best they've sounded since the 90s! Making the improbable comeback the real thing. Unbelievable.

"The Invisibles"

The world waits for you when
And the dawn breaks for you when
And the media will watch
And she will change her mind

I tried to win for you when
I shed my skin for you when
I loved you like my own
I fed you like a child

Stay in bed and feed the day
With my imagination, honey
Falling through the cracks in people's kindness
And the world won't step aside

I tried to make you want me
I left my home at seventeen
But everywhere I looked I saw
Another me

And we are the invisibles
Plain and lonely
It's funny how it's always out of reach

I hear the wood pigeons and
I call my father in and
He sits and hears me sing
But never wonders why

Why do I call out in the night
He found the photos set alight
Everything about her
Makes me want to smile

I'll stay in bed and feed the day
With my polite conversation, father
Papering the cracks in others' silence
But I still won't step aside

I tried to make her want me
I tried to play her politics
But every step I took
I had to swallow this

That we are the invisibles
Strange and lonely
It's funny how it's always out of reach
It's funny how it's always out of reach
It's funny how we're always out of reach

pure concentrated Suede, haunting yet with surreal melody. Like a fine wine they get better with age.

I was robbed today. Feeling down. But now, down could be beautiful. Maybe is the magic of the blue hour. Thank u Suede, as always.

OH BOY. Suede unpacking the drama again. The cloud-filled sky is full of violins this time and the guitar is now the mere echo, in front of which the spectacle unfolds in Cinemascope and rips open like summer storm clouds at the first rainfall.

This could be a really consistent development from the fantastic "Night Thoughts". I'm even more excited about the new album now.

Suede never cease to surprise me, I keep thinking their best was 20 years ago, but I an continuously proven wrong. A complex and emotive song, I love the orchestral arrangement, the delicate arpeggios and the vocal leading the entire song. Can't wait to see what's next!

Today I'm on my thirty's, when I discover Suede I was on high school when in a rock station in Mexico City discover myself singing She's in Fashion in 2001. No matter how many years goes by and how many times I've lost them on track. Suede always come back to me (like Pulp, Blur, James, Elbow do). Really amazing track. They still keep it and amaze me like first day.

so lyrical, staggering that there's musicians out there that still do this

I've been listening to this on repeat for days now. Haven't listened to anything so much since I was a teenager. This song heals me on so many levels, it is the ultimate Suede, I'll listen to it forever!

It is always an honor to hear what Suede has to offer. I hope that the band will tour the US soon. The Fox Theatre or The Glass House in Pomona, California need Suede.

It's wonderful that Brett's voice is still as moving as it was.

Shuffling my music earlier today I heard 'The Wild Ones', a song I've loved for over twenty years, then this evening I heard this for the first time, such a beautiful song, such a great band!

Brett sounds better than ever. I remember meeting them at their debut album listening party in Boston. They were all very cool guys. The show that evening at the Paradise Rock Club was outstanding. Ordered the Blue Hour on vinyl today and I am looking forward to hearing it~
