This option will not work if there is a iClound on phone which is not belong to you. After this process you will run into Activation Lock screen which you cannot pass. And if you familiar with the iCloud set up on the phone then makes no sense to pay for something that you can do without cent from iTunes.

So I bought it. I was able to reset passcode. But it didnt save anything or did I find anything from my old phone. I thought it would take out the passcode so I can backup everything. It took it back to its factory state. I could have done that without spending $40. Lost everything. Lesson from this exercise is backup daily if you dont want to pay apple's iCloud backup. Lost a months worth of photos

This did not work, fake company. Once I downloaded firmware and the phone restarted after it went through "removing passcode, " nothing happened. I would be surprised if they respond to me ticket.
