The singles already gave me SUPER high expectations for this album and it did not disappoint. I had a similar reaction to this as I did with _Eyes Open_ where the already great singles blindsided me to how HARD some of the deepcuts could go. It might fall off a little near the end for me but the best moments of this album are legit FANTASTIC.

Snow Patrol is slept on! “Everything’s Here and Nothing’s Lost” is a standout on this new album!

Great review. I love this album and I also loved A Hundred Million Suns. It's nice to have them back, even if they lost 2 members.

Great review. Huge fan here and I can’t fault anything SP do. Love this album. AHMS is my absolute favourite of theirs but this isn’t far behind.

this album is great but honestly i dont think they lost their way that badly. fallen empires is definitely cloying and irksome but i was receptive of wildness's variety and think that's one of their better albums. this one's probably above it just because it's more focused but i like that they tried both an album where they left their comfort zone and tried on a bunch of different suits, and then followed that with an album that leaned more into their usual hallmarks but pulled the lessons they learned from their 2010s output as well

They are leading the race to be at no. 1 in the UK with the album...so they are relevant and so many can relate to them and the lyrics

Looks like I gotta give this one a spin! I remember being a fan of some of their singles during the Fallen Empires (heck, I even got a cd copy of that album and its first half's full of gems) but never really reconnected with them afterwards. Happy to see the boys still got it in them.

As a huge SP fan I think 'A Hundred Millions Suns' is their best album and this is album is a real continuation of that. I thought the last two albums were two clean cut and 'Forest is the Fire' is a more authentic version of the band. They are at heart an indie band and what's really nice about this album is that they left their rough edges on the songs making them so much more interesting.

Snow Patrol was that kind of band that I would see their vinyl overtake one big chunk of space in the vinyl section at the Second & Charles that closed in my city (which still makes me sad) but damn I guess now I have to go listen to them huh
