It is at the bottom of the Val d'Anniviers, at the foot of the imperial crown, that the resort of Zinal is nestled. Surrounded by some of the highest mountains in the Alps, Zinal is an eldorado for nature lovers in its purest state.

Zinal is one of those places that commands admiration. Whether you come here to rest with your family, or to conquer its mountains, its ski slopes or its unspoiled slopes, we all draw the same conclusions at the end of your stay: Zinal has invigorating properties! A resplendent nature, endless sporting possibilities, historical visits, activities for children... and above all the mountains within easy reach for holidays that give off a taste of purity.

The Valais holiday resort of Zinal is located at an altitude of 1670 m, at the very bottom of the Val d'Anniviers nestled in the majestic landscape offered by the peaks rising to over 4000 meters: Weisshorn, Bishorn, Zinalrothorn, Obergabelhorn, Matterhorn and Dent Blanche.

The highest peak among the "crown of peaks" surrounding Zinal is the Weisshorn. With its 4506 m, it is the fourth highest peak in Europe. It is therefore not surprising that Zinal is particularly popular with mountaineering enthusiasts. After several hours of walking, you reach, around Zinal, four refuges which also serve as a starting point for climbing the peaks. As for hiking enthusiasts, Zinal has a network of 300 km in store for them, while 150 km of marked trails are intended for mountain bikers.

The Zinal-Sorebois area with guaranteed snow cover includes 9 facilities between 1670 m and 2895 m above sea level and 70 km of slopes facing a magnificent panorama of high mountains. The “Gardes de Bordon” freeride area, the first official freeride area in Switzerland, makes Zinal a popular destination for off-piste skiing enthusiasts. The “Avalanche Training Center” is an avalanche rescue training center; it offers rescue training and allows testing of its transmitter and receiver. A 19 km track awaits cross-country skiers.

Опять получила массу удовольствия посмотрев Ваше видео про Швейцарию. Спасибо. Я поняла, если есть рай на земле, то это Швейцария. Это конечно горы и красота природы. Но есть и то что сделал человек. Приятно видеть, как люди сохраняя природу органично вписывают свои постройки в этот ландшафт. И рядом с новыми домами соседствуют старые, двухсотлетние.
