In order to taste a true horse or camel milk you should ask to bring ones from villages. Brands sold in supermarkets are weird

Love your channel💞💞 so funny and educating at the same time.
Being native kazakh, I just can say for sure, nobody in kazakhstan loves that bottled horse and camel milk. That’s does taste anything close to that one, which you could try at the villages fresh.
Try sometime if you have a chance the one from villages.
That’s just true heaven.
Good luck with your channel!

Hi Rocky! A milk from "JLC" is much natural and cheaper than other milks. But real milk is in villages)

Oh you should try horse/camel milk not from a supermarket. Weekend bazars by Anvar or Evraziya mall have proper milk brought directly from nearby villages, thats the real stuff to go for. We made our Italian colleague try horse milk at Kishlak restaurant (ashtray area), and he thought it tastes like some fermented cheese made somewhere in Italy.
Odari milk is made with dried milk which I think is cheeky of the manufacturer and not worth the price. And the most popular milk among locals is the one in a soft seamed plastic. Have a nice day!

I advise you to try packaged milk such as Zenchenko or Rodina which have short exp.date because of its natural product

Black dots on horse milk is ok. It is a fat which means that it is a natural product. In every village if you will drink horse milk it usually has black dots on it, it is ok.

There are more natural cow milk brands than that ones (some of them were from Russia). So waiting for part 2.
And that camel and horse milks was fermented, but their natural tastes isn't that bad.

Horse and camel are not actually a milk, it's fermented product. Fresh horse milk is very sweet. It is a reason why it sour after fermentation.

You should try Rodina milk, it’s the real milk, it can’t be saved for long (~5 days max)

Have you ever tried non-fermented horse milk (not kumis)? It is actually quite sweet

It is not a camel milk, Shubat is a kazakh drink made from camel's milk. Many foreigners expect it to be delicious, but it is not and there is a reason why. These drinks were first made when there were no such thing as a fridge, so may kazakh drinks or kurt for examle were made to be stored in a cool and embient temperature. One milk you might not have tried and should try is goat's milk

3 out of 4 cow milks you tasted are from Russian brands. I wouldnt trust Russian dairy, except the last one (that brand seems quite nice), because they have poor quality control.
In Astana, best milk brands are: Родина, Новоникольск, Деп. Theyre in soft packages, more natural and dont last for more that a week.
