Yesterday this exact crash happened to me. The test shows 40 mph, however I was going 55 and had a head on collision with another driver passing illegally going 80. I swerved and was hit at the same spot as this test in my 2011 Jetta, I have virtually no injuries and the other driver in the 99 civic died on the scene. I’m very blessed but I now love this test so much. It will be the deciding factor for my next car

This honestly makes me feel a lot safer after watching failed crash tests to see the car I drive do this well

I have to say I love how German cars are built I have a VW Jetta myself the only thing I don't like is the battery is tossed out so if there's any subsequent accidents no more airbags can be inflated and nothing else electronic can be operated

The dummy's head slid off the airbag, like in the Chrysler Town & Country.
