That music you have Phil (8.58-11.46) is absolutely fantastic!

Scary seeing the blown down tree across the towpath. Glad you and the boys weren’t moored there during the storm. Lovely to see them off exploring in the sunshine!

For anyone who likes a pint or three, in a village pub, there are actually three public houses in Stoke Golding.

1) The George and Dragon
2) The Three Horseshoes
3) The White Swan

All with good local reputations for serving decent ale!

And in days of yore due to the quirk of being in Leicestershire but having a Warwickshire postcode it was very well known for "lock-ins" as nobody knew which police force to call out 😎 Not sure this is still the case though...

Almost at my home mooring one more bridge to go. I've really enjoyed my time on the Ashby Canal. Looks even better in the sunshine. Thanks Phil. Alan.

Nice one Phil. It’s rather odd, but we have to listen to the opening scene when Midge (I think) says hello and again at the end when the two cats emerge onto the deck.

February 25th and it feels like spring already. God has truly blessed your country. Good climate, beautiful nature and, most importantly, no Russia in the neighborhood.

Hi Phill, how are you ? your looking well! . What a beautiful cruise, I like to think that all the dreary wet months of winter are worth the coming of spring when we have days like that, it looks seren. your music goes so well with the canal's and the nature. I would like to share with you and maybe some of your subscribers one of my favourite bands, they're called Auri there are some official videos on YouTube .I obviously don't know your musical preferences, but I think you will like them, . they take you somewhere mystical. Take care.

Did it annoy you when that other boat nearly forced you into an accident. Apart from that, thank you for a very pleasant cruise. Take care Phil.

Nice journey and lovely quiet countryside. It makes me wonder if your cats have ever been in a town or city, because you do like to moor away from all that civilisation

Do you ever get bored and fed up of seeing the canals all the time?
