Deauvlle hotel turns into cloud of dust after demolition

The historic Deauville Hotel turned into dust and debris after it imploded during demolition on Sunday in Miami-Beach.

It's a sad day for many of us to see this hotel come down after experiencing it since the 1970s. 😟 The implosion shook the ground all the way over at Indian Creek.

This building should had been preserved and fixed up to be a 50s/60s themed boutique hotel. It had the same Art Deco elements most historic buildings got in Miami Beach and went perfect with the cities vintage vibe. Other projects like this have been done there’s many small 50s motels that have been saved and turned into vintage boutique hotels charging as much as the big luxury high rises in some cases

This was the objective, now the money 💰 will flow into the pockets of the supporting cast. None of the leading players were there to inhale the asbestos fibers in the air. Disgusting.

This is soo sad and soo sick...Choosing "Destruction" over preservation...65 years of withstanding hurricanes and some sick "Green" souls from hell, destroy it...We are living in very sick times, indeed...
