Okay, I just played BOTW (ik that i'm late for the train) and as a GI player that has played for a year. Both of the game is very very very VERY different. Yes the mechanical is similar but the feeling of when you play both of the game is different. BOTW gives you alot of details from how we can do side quests, the physics of how everything do (weapons, glides, and how we run and climb), and the vast and big and beautiful landscape and map. Genshin is more fantasy but more refined than other fantasy game.Genshin is not a "finished" game as we always get updates every month. As for BOTW, it is a finish game (you get the game and you don't need any updates except DLC for more content but it doesn't intercept with the main plot). Genshin is good for a F2P game but BOTW is a much more breathtaking game. All and all both game are fun and breathtaking.
