Finally someone who do justice to Astral Chain my personal GOTY.

It is not only a great game but a truly new and original one, and this is what elevates it above all the other great games of 2019 for me.

Honorable mention goes to *The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III, * which I haven't played yet, but I'm almost positive will walk away as my favorite game of the year based on how much I enjoyed the two previous games in the series.

Death Stranding is an awesome emotional experience. It’s hard to talk about it without spoiling the story but wow. I’m still thinking about this game a month after finishing it

I was finally able to purchase the Grandia collection on switch, and oh my god. Probably my favorite this year. Ive never played it before and after hearing you, andrew, and i think Derrick as well gush about it, i had to get it. I see why its so special to you. I absolutely love it!

So glad to see the love for KH3, I started playing it but got sidetracked with life and saw a few so-so reviews and didn’t pick it up again to play — will give it a go again over the holidays.

Thanks god someone finally mentions Astral Chain. It's so good and hardly anyone is talking about it as a highlight of 2019. It was my game of the year, even over Fire Emblem and Pokemon.

Monster Hunter World's Iceborne expansion is probably my game of the year. The base Monster Hunter World was already 8/10 for me. This expansion just bumped it up to a 10/10 game, hands down. The addition of more monsters to hunt, new areas, added gameplay mechanics (the clutch claw), more grindy goodness, better endgame (the guiding Lands), more post launch content (even more new monsters and areas), everything is here for me. I love it, and it'll forever be in my top 5 games of all time.
