Beautiful Dhankar Village and Monastery. Dhankar is ancient capital of Spiti. We had an amazing time viewing the confluence of Pin River and Spiti River. We tried local sandwich made in a very unique style, it was so yummy, a must try at Old Monastery Cafe. Very peaceful, quite and serene place. Since we were short of time couldn't go for Dhankar Lake trek. It's a 2-3 hrs trek, if you wish to do, pls plan accordingly. There are plenty of homestays available.

World's one of the most Dangerous Road, Manali to Spiti Valley. Spiti Valley - A lesser known and offbeat location of Himachal Pradesh. Very Dangerous Road trip. Generally people go by SUV or Four-Wheel Drive. We tried our luck with our mid-range small car and this trip added to one of the best memory for our family. It's a Rollercoaster ride with scenic beauty all around. It's a must visit place. We had an amazing road trip from Manali to Spiti Valley in our mid-range car - VOLKSWAGEN AMEO
