Bro I recommend you to mix the Bondo on a plastic or metal tray. Cardboard will suck the hardner out of the filler 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Bondo only adheres to clean metal not paint, glaze can stick to paint but its thin with not much rigidity, like a topcoat.

Body filler will only adhere to a panel that’s had the clear coat sanded. Sand bondo with 80 grit and use glaze to get rid of pinholes and small imperfections. Finish with 180 grit. Using a sanding block helps keep your bondo even. Use 5% of hardener to however much filler/glaze you have.

Bondo/ bog as us people in Australia call it will only stick to bare metal or if u have rubbed it with coarse sandpaper before hand. I work in the trade and ur bondo will just peel of easily and won’t stick to the surface properly
