I really enjoyed this interview. My grandad always used to tell me about how good the quality street gang were especially v Leeds. Connolly's story is a sad one. I hope we will be talking about McGregor Christie Johnston Henderson and Tierney (even though hes away) in years to come.

I had the privilege of being escorted by Kevin McKenna in and around Celtic Park . I had won a competition in the Celtic View in the centenary year and got myself a top notch meal in the newly opened Walfrid restaurant . Kevin, photographer in tow then took me round the stadium - the old stadium, I might add . I remember he made great play of my iconic republican name . Nice guy and Celtic through and through . I was from same generation of fans who regularly saw Connolly, McGrain, Macari, Dalglish et al .
