Imagine if he didn't get horse-collar tackled on that one breakaway- he would have had another 50 yards on that play

And even more impressive that this was a top 7 defense in the league

Greatest combination of power, speed and elusiveness since Walter Payton. Jim Brown was just so much bigger and stronger than defenders he played against. Sweetness and AD are the greatest runners of all-time in my opinion.

Barry Sanders is my favorite RB of all time but if anyone deserves too pass him on the list it's definitely this guy. AP man. Beast mode all day.

Set the single game rushing record in his rookie year. One of the greatest to ever play. Who's excited to see what he can still do this year?! You know he was working hard to make a big comeback!

I love how instead of running through the ref, he just gently uses his hand on the refs back like he’s saying “Hey man, sorry, I’m just gonna slip in over here.”

My favorite back since I watched him on my favorite college football team (since the early 70's) as a freshman. As far as just rushing goes, he's the best I've seen. Has a great work ethic, loads of talent & confidence & (A Killer Handshake:))

I remember watching this game and i was hoping AD would have a better game than Tomlinson, i think 4 or 5 of his runs went for more yards than L.T. had the entire game

Never seen someone carry his team on his back like AP.

He's a beast. I couldn't be more siked that he's a Redskin. It be awesome to have him end his career with Washington in 2 or 3 yrs. Even better if he can grab a ring before he he hangs them up

Lol Peterson made number 20 look super bad all game..thus the horse collar tackle in the end because again..he was shook and out ran while staring him down as he approached 20..lol great stuff

On his 3rd TD run there’s a camera that was focused in on his feet. When he makes that hard cut up the field it’s as if he was so light on his feet they barely make contact with the turf. Then when he runs up the field his toes are creating all the torque he needs to rush into the end zone. It’s almost gravity defying.

It was nice for me to watch it happen because I remembered watching Walter Payton breaking the earlier record against my Vikings.

It actually counts as 400 yards rushing since Tarvaris Jackson was the quarterback.
