This is actually a version recorded by Arijit Singh 10 years ago that never made the album and hence was "unofficially" leaked. You can check the 10 year old upload. And as for the voice, now you can surely understand the struggle, effort, hard work, and tedious practice the man has gone through to reshape his voice into something that we all adore today. So the thing is Music Directors often create mocaps of the song structure which is usually sung by their assistants. (Arijit might have been Pritam's at that time) for the main singers to listen and replicate it in their voice.
This version could be that mocap which was maybe enhanced later into a full fledged version of it's own maybe because it was sung so well. But never got released officially
