I would pick this over the polestar 2. The polestar 2 for me in terms of interior loses what I LOVE about volvo. Now if it was the polestar 1 the question would have become different.

I'm waiting with excitement for mine. I chose it because of safety for my infant. The onyx black metallic paint and harman kardon music system was for me and my wife. Leather seats also for easier cleaning because of kids, and yes, it looks good. All the other extras were safety related. Can't wait!

I love the XC40 and even better electric.

It’s a great car, but I would never be able to justify the price for a smallish crossover when compared to petrol versions. I wish Volvo would offer lower power (same range) versions for a lot less. I do not need 400 horse power.

I dont know why but It felt like you didnt actually have The Electric one and that tou just edited The car in and used a normal one for The inside shots😂

Shame on you! First Drive?
Are there any normal YouTubers left who don't clickbait?

"first drive" where is the drive? I just saw a Volvo commercial and a guy reading off the product page? About the car tho, I have the XC40 T3 and love it, but the starting price is double from what I paid for mine, including some extras! It's ridiculous.

Why is Vicky Parrot no longer presenting? She was great.

Any real tests this can actually do 260 miles in good conditions and not heavy right food?
We know polestar 2 does not meet it's stated range and it is pretty weak on efficiency (it is thirsty on electricity)

Just found out this can tow 1500Kg that’s 500Kg more than the closest EV the Tesla model 3 long range!

I'm finding Volvo's interiors now to be, familiar and a tad dated. Time for something new. I think the Polestar 2 has a more modern dash and door trim.

Why quote 11kw home rates...? How many people actually have 3 phase so why quote it?

Nice car...but id4 will be a choice for many on price

Nice car, but seems very expensive. Electric cars generally seem very expensive compared to their combustion engine counterparts. I just can't justify spending that kind of money even on a PCP contract. People used to buy cars and have them until they had done some serious miles and usage. Now everybody wants a brand new car!

Looks like this will go on my "maybe" list.... "in my opinion" if they changed the design of the bodywork, blocking rear side window, it would look far more appealing to me.

Esta gente parece que está en otro mundo, en México el franelero te cobraría por bajarte el cable y conectarte, o el enchufe tendría un candado, o te asalataran mientras estas cargando 😔

I don’t want to sound negative but this review has no useful information for us as to the actual real world use. What is the average consumption in city driving and highway driving? How fast does it charge? When does the charging speed taper off. It has a large battery and stopping for an hour or more to charge on 50kw charger might be a bad deal to a lot of people. That’s the stuff we need to know.

No one (hardly)UK has three phase power at home so they won't have 11kw home charger.

I like it, but even Volvo has admitted that it takes 70, 000 miles for the polestar2 to negate the extra co2 used in it's production compared to a petrol xc40 I assume this is no different, so you're not really helping the environment at all. Quiter and cleaner, but not exactly greener.
