Lyrics

I said baby, mama i don't know your name
But I said baby, sugar I can play your game
Every night when we leave the hall baby
I see you hanging around
You wanna ride in my big black car baby
Wanna go uptown

I know who you are baby
I know what they call you girl
Never put you down baby
I'm just like you, baby I'm on the hunt

I'm a man on huntin'

I know lady
People gonna talk about you and me
Let me say one thing mama, sugar I do as I please
And if you wanna love me baby, I'm your man
And all those high-falutin' society people
I don't care if they don't undertand

I know who you are baby
I know what they call you girl
Never put you down baby
I'm just like you, baby I'm on the hunt

Baby, I'm a hunter

My daddy told me baby, a long time ago
Said there's two things son
Two things you should know
And in these two things you must take pride
That's a horse and woman, yeah
Well both of them you ride

I know who you are baby
I know what they call you girl
Never put you down baby
I'm just like you, babyI'm on the hunt

Baby, I'm a hunter

One of the most criminally underrated bands ever!

I don’t know how, but they really managed to sound like themselves and Skynyrd at the same time

Being in my ( very) late 50s it is a tribute to Skynyrd not just a cover and yes it shows, the respect. This is brilliant. 🎸🎸🎸.

I have listened to this at least 100 times in the past 3 days. COC is sorely underrated.

Usually these covers cannot reach the soulfulness and raw power of Skynyrd....but this is very damn close to do it.

I'd love to hear them do a Skynyrd album. It's like Sabbath meets Skynyrd in a modern world.
For over 30 years all of their stuff is timeless.

I normaly dont give bands props when they cover Skynyrd songs but COC did a damn good job, no doubt. They did it justice for sure.

Just magical...Pepper is on fire here. That vocal is killer. Like Van Zandt is channeling through him...

Allen wrote the music, Ronnie wrote the lyrics, released on "Nuthin' Fancy" on March 24, 1975...I'm happy to see the music is remembered and continued thru the younger bands. Nice job.

The production is SOLID. Holy shit, it sounds so thick and heavy yet completely crystal clear.

Where has this been all my life? Been a CoC fan since 1992 and never knew it existed. Damn, this is some good shit.

Its rare that a band can do a cover song & make it kick MORE ASS than the origional. This my friends is one of those Been listening to C.O.C. for years simply because they are BAD ASS!!! The origional lineup was the best, but things change..that cant be helped. They STILL kick pure ass!!! "Albatros" was the 1st song i ever heard from C.O.C. I STILL get goosebumps when i hear it!!! Kepp doin what ya do C.O.C!!!!
