Great video. Can you do more video about gear connection (the fact that it's probably better not to use patchbay), cable quality (1000$/foot cable realy make a difference ? Some cable even have a flow direction ?), AC power quality, 10000$ AD/DA vs 1000$, computer installation and in the room or outside ? Monitor (speakers) control. Your room design and accoustic treatment. And by the way, is there such thing as surround mastering ? Thanks !

Streaky is right about clean Earth, in my studio whenever I get noise/hum (particularly on gear that does not have balanced connections) it's usually always because one of the items is picking up ground interference so I ran a totally separate power cable from another fuse box that 's only for troublesome equipment with earth noise, as soon as I remove that item from the studio power and plug it into that totally clean socket the noise stops.

Great item Streaky, and the struggle is real with analog, still, I love it. Good point on the leads and power, much overlooked. It's the same reason you want a festival PA as close to the generator as possible, less is more.
What are the tech-specs for the power/line leads you should be looking for, like gauge or...? Any specific brands? Thx

Hello, could you maybe please tell and show us more details about your studio build?
