The greatest collection of baseball skills ever assembled on one person! Great speed, tremendous power, and a sizzling fastball. I can only think of Dave Kingman (who had an incredible fastball also, when he began his career at USC) as player from before with this arsenal all contained within a single player. But Ohtani is a much better disciplined player than Kingman. His plate discipline is actually holding him back, in my opinion. I wish that he'd start going after the first good pitch that he sees and stop waiting until he's down two strikes to swing. If he'd been able to avoid hurting his elbow, he would have easily won rookie of the year this year. This is only the beginning, folks!

I was there! At 10 seconds look for a kid on the right in a blue shirt that says "CBC"! So cool to see

There are those that need to "adjust" to a new league, then, there's Ohtani.

Only if he can stay healthy for the full season, 15W and 20HR so doable.

I wonder, when was the last time a pitcher, any pitcher, hit 9 HRs in the same season?

A sayonara home run is when you walk it off...not in the fifth inning.

Juan Soto is 19 years old and he has 11 home runs of the year and he and otani Homer the same day and I don't see any clip of him whoever runs MLB has a favoritism no good for the game
