I love my 2024 Outback Limited XT! The turbo was mandatory for me—every time I need/want to zip ahead to fill in an open slot in traffic, the power reminds me that it was a great choice. And as another reminder, when someone in a little economy car with a tiny non-turbo engine is riding my bumper, they can’t generate enough horsepower to pass me when the road goes uphill and they have a passing lane. I really wanted the Wilderness, but the lower mpg kept me from choosing it. I’ve done hyper mileage in my Outback XT and saw 620 total available miles (that’s 33.5mpg!). So I guess it is possible to get better than the rated 26mpg with the Wilderness. Perhaps in 2026–I’ll be monitoring your channel to see if Subaru comes out with a hybrid turbo engine—I would jump at that!

My ‘22 Crosstrek is the first car I’ve ever had with LED headlights and they are AMAZING! Since I’ve not had any other vehicle with LEDs I don’t have anything to compare to as far as that goes but compared to halogens I was floored at the difference. Also, I saw another commenter saying the SRHs activate at 5 MPH or above which is accurate. I can really notice it at night as I’m turning in to my driveway. As soon hit the brakes to slow for the turn and I drop below 5 I can see them re-center themselves. Kinda cool actually.

Love the videos, slowly getting me towards buying a '25 wilderness haha. That screen though... I hate it, it looks like such an eyesore. Maybe it looks better when Spotify or Google maps are in use. Maybe something for the next video!

Interesting review of the Outback at night. LCD lights is the way to go. Halogens are just not comparison to the LCD's, albeit sufficent. You're stuck with the Halogens unless you want to do a retrofit. It may be too costly and not worth it, but worth finding out whether it can be done. Thank you for the thoughtful review!

I do really enjoy my '23 OBW! There are a couple of annoyances I'm experiencing, but the one that bothers me the most is during certain times when braking it feels like the pressure disappears and comes back in a surging pattern. Doesn't happen all the time, but certainly enough to be troubling. Do you have this same issue in yours?

Subaru has remarked the variable angle headlights start working around 5 mph - I've noticed such behavior in both my '21 and '24 Outback XT's.

If you can, try out the toyota crown signia and give us your opinion on it. I have been wondering how it compares to the outback. Its more fuel efficient of course but doesnt have as much power as an xt.

It would be neat to see the confort level of a touring vs it from someone who is used to subarus.

The glare in the morning on the speedometer and infotainment centers are so bad! And the cup holder and storage cubby. Other than that not much to complain about
