WE BOUGHT A BRONCO! A 2021 #FordBroncoBadlands trim that is going to be turned into a SEMA BEAST. In full stock form, the #FordBronco is way more capable than we thought and has some definite power on the trail. But is it a Jeep Killer?

To be fair… No, it’s not a Jeep Killer per say, but it is a pretty awesome rig and we can’t wait to see the aftermarket get ahold of this thing. Don’t get it twisted though, this new 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands can shred up trails like the original #Bronco, if not better. The new 2021 Ford Bronco has this nostalgic feel that will make any Bronco lover rave about. Its interior is simple yet packed with new and improved technologies that will take off- roading to the NEXT LEVEL. Some of the new features that are available include: 12.0-inch touchscreen, an off-road performance app, built in rack on the dashboard that you can easily mount phones or GoPros to capture your off-roading adventure, and waterproof surfaces that protect against the elements when you decide to rip the doors or roofs off.

Now, let’s talk about what is underneath the hood. Although, it does not come with a V-8 option, buyers have the option to choose a 300-hp turbocharged 2.3 liter four-cylinder or a 330-hp twin turbo 2.7-liter V-6. The 2021 Bronco has 10-speed automatic transmission bolts to both gas engines. However, with the smaller Bronco model, your only option is the 7-speed manual. One notable feature that stands out is the independent front suspension that is way more sophisticated than Jeep’s front stick axle. In addition, the Ford Bronco handles better overall than any Jeep Wrangler.

Every quarter we give away a ridiculous Offroading or Overlanding rig. Check out our site to get entered:

Those are Marine grade seats meant for easy washout

That’s funny. I just watched a video of a bronco on 37’s with a little lift do the same thing a jeep with a 100k+ build done did. Nothing high speed either. A little practice might help ya with the IFS maybe 🤔 You can also have a custom wrapped dash too if you don’t like the easily cleanable durable plastic. Jeep is just as plasticy btw. I’ve also driven a ton of new Broncos. They are way more comfortable than any jeep I’ve ridden in. Hope y’all use your imaginations on this build and try to make it just as if not more capable than a jeep by your standards.

You need to do your research. Marine grade vinyl is meant for easy cleaning. You don’t even have the Sasquatch package which you can get even on the base model which Jeep doesn’t do. So when you take this “off roading” I can already hear your Jeep fanboy review saying it just isn’t as good. It will be comparable to taking a base wrangler out there. You also didn’t even mention one thing on why it’s NOT a Jeep killer. Read all of the motor review articles and the Jeeper Creepers are in trouble and they know it. The Jeep hasn’t changed in 15 years. You get in and it just feels outdated immediately. Mall crawlers are ruining their brand.

Still prefer a wrangler all the way. It’s nice but not as cool as the wrangler

I'm getting sick and tired of hearing... well, the Bronco might be better on the highway but nothing can match the jeep off-road. HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW; YOU HAVEN'T DRIVEN IT YET? What is off-road? Is it steep dirt roads with some ruts and gravel? Why is the Jeep better at that? I don't think it is. The Bronco would be smoother and do just as good, maybe better. When I watch a jeep climb a gravel hill I see each wheel grab and kick a little, in other words, it slips. I watch a Bronco on the same hill and I don't see slipping, something is different, and I think the Bronco is better at that. How about off-roads in thick woods where you make sharp turns around trees and rocks, Bronco's turn assist is by far better than what the jeep can do. There are times you can need front lockers without using the rear lockers, the Bronco can do that, and the Jeep can't. There are several things off-road that I am sure the Bronco is better at. How about driving fast when off-roading, hands down the Bronco will be better. There are some things the Jeep will be better at, like narrow trails, the Jeep is a little narrower than the Bronco, so there, something for the Jeep, but there are times when a wider vehicle will be more stable than a narrow vehicle, think about it. Now let's talk Articulation and the solid axel vs. IFS on stock rigs, YES, STOCK RIGS. If the stock Jeep has more articulation than the stock Bronco, it isn’t much, so big deal. Now I will admit the Jeep solid axel is less likely to break than the IFS, and easier to fix if it does break. Rock Crawling is not the only thing people do off-road, so let's get over the BS that the Jeep is automatically better than the Bronco off-road because if you count the things people do off-road, I would say Bronco wins. So get out there and drive them both in every way you can drive them off-road and then tell me the Jeep is better w/o being bias as hell.
