Ah yes I need this now, I started learning front end dev 3 weeks ago and I still cant finish a single basic challenge from front end mentor and I am starting to doubt myself, but after seeing this gives me motivation to continue at my own pace not to compare myself to others. Progress is progress no matter how small it is😊

Definitely sound advice, I figured this out last year, that even a little coding each day will become a huge amount at the end of the year.

There is a lot of times where I look at my other friends who code really climbing up and it always makes me feel that may be I am not smart enough to do it
Although I love what I am studying right now and I am making progress but it just makes you feel insecure looking at others so thank you for motivating us ❤️❤️

This really comes in clutch, you're such a wise mentor, looking forward to become a self-taught software engineer with no degree, and I'll do anything to make my dream possible!

That's the thing, it doesn't matter how fast you go. As long as you keep walking in one direction, you will inevitably arrive.

Exactly. I'm learning to code so I'm not in the best position to judge, but it's true with everything. Key is to commit (!). Steady, know your rythm. I'm taking a 14month course to learn android app dev, a lot of courses offer 6, 4 or even 2months sessions, but I find it so short... Even 14months seem so short to me 😅 but that's a better pace for me. Happy coding everyone! 👋 Love your channel, just discovered it!

I already experienced this. Got burnt out, sleep deprived and walking around like a zombie. Eventually gave up and here I'm picking it again.

Thanks for this short. I started a week ago and I was feeling really insecure about my schedule, it looked like I was racing to learn code and was getting exhausted. Guess I am going to try to learn to code for about 9-10 hours per week to go slowly and rest well.

That's totally me slow and steady but still going on...as I love it and my family respects my career so they let me do how I want to ..whether job or freelancing awake all night...but keep on going on and I will never stop until I die....I have learned so many languages and made progress in web development and app...this keeps me motivated and excited 😊 never ever stop and enjoy what you love doing....thanks to my colleagues, peers for encouraging me and teaching me and helping me out whenever I need them.
