The 6186 Clipper was an affordable and simple Gretsch hollowbody introduced in 1958. The classic configuration is a traditional sunburst finish on a thinline, single-cutaway hollowbody. Serial: 38280. Lots more photos available upon request.

We believe this is a Hi'Lo 'Tron pickup.

Finish Specifications: Sunburst was a standard finish for the 6186.
Condition: Two small dings on the front center lower bought. One small ding on the back upper bought. The tip of the headstock has a blem. There are numbers etched into the metal on the bottom of the guitar where the Tailpiece is attached. Average fret wear.
