i was on a long long flight with my sister (i was 8) and i was telling my sister how hungry i was and we had no way of paying for it and the flight attendant overheard us and gave us free snacks and drinks for the rest of our flight and spirit has always been my favorite ever since.

Though I have criticized spirit airlines for being like Ryanair I get teary eyed to see spirit go. You don't appreciate things until it gone a quote in aviation people don't think about often. Stay strong spirit you got a chance of making it.

this is so sad though because spirit is like that only friend or your family who cares about you in the end when you go bankrupt or end up homeless or something bad happens and also is like in those movies where a kid doesn't have a dad but has an uncle and the uncle is there for him like a dad, and I feel like spirit airlines is the uncle because it was always there when we need a flight and all the other ones were fully booked

Actually :

Despite filling for chapter 11 bankruptcy, the airline will not cease operations as it might rebuild its finances and reduce debt.

The bankruptcy process is made to stabilize the airline and not to kill it. In some scenarios, the airline might merge into another one or if Spirit Airlines absolutely doesn’t come across luck, might eventually cease operations but not before late of 2025.

In other words Spirit Airlines will continue operations to fish a bit of money as well as restructuring their finances.
