Ford Ranger, Explorer, Sport Trac Center Console Armrest Repair

This is for those of you who have the bucket seats in certain 2001-2011 Ford Ranger Edge/Sports, as well as some Explorers and Sport Trac vehicles. Received my armrest support today and installed it. fits and works perfectly. Thank you Jesse. Not sure how long my armrest will last as the inside plastic is cracked and broken near the back hinge. I did put the OSB inside to fill the void also. Thank you for the great video.

I used expanding foam in my arm rest, works great.

Great product, 3D printed to fit perfectly, cheaper to buy this part and metal plate then to install new OEM that will break again. This is second and hopefully last time replacing the arm rest in my 2003 edge (yes 2004+ metal plate fits 03 edge with buckets)

These should’ve been part of the console from the factory, horrible design by Ford to not have anything there for support in the first place.

2001 and it's even worse, that one has a full little box underneath, mine is all open and side walls are only like 2 inch so stuff falls in-between seat . What were they thinking, I put a little box and made it better stuff stays and gives a little support to armrest but still broke 😂

Can you tell me how to get that back pin to go through the armrest and reattach? My arm rest totally came off and I'm trying to reattach that PIN but I can't get it to go through the holes in the back of that armrest

That hinge you talked about where the plate mounts to the center console base. Is there anyway to knock the hold broken plastic oem off and reuse that hinge?
