Repurposing Dug Up Rocks | Permaculture Design

Advancing large home-scale permaculture while having a full-time job means attacking little focused projects at a time to maintain sanity. Traditional permaculture design is to pile rocks for snake and lizard homes, but I have way more rocks than that. Small to medium rocks I dig up as I plant things and weed go under my deck and/or around my house. Larger rocks can line edges. Think about using them to solve problems, where you get a lot of shade (so likely near mushrooms if you cultivate those), and for an artistic look. My gigantic rock isn't going anywhere. Leave (or be happy with) some rocks in the ground to add minerals over time for plants and maintain good drainage.
