About 3 years ago I was going through a rough patch spiritually. My wife convinced me to go back to church and I did kind of reluctantly. They played this song weekly and I tuned it out.

A few weeks later they announced mass layoffs at my plant and to top it off I was having health issues. That Sunday I had absolutely no desire to go to church, but I did.

The first worship song was this. I stood there reading the lyrics and began to cry. I knew Jesus was with me. No matter what happens, he is my lord, my saviour and he will be there. Ever since this song has had deep meaning to me. I felt recommend to him

Your past hasn't been good to you doesn't mean you should go back to it. Anyone can start being a new and better version of oneself, doesn't mean it'll be easy at the same time.. but remember God has the strength.. he just needs your faith and patience. (I'm currently having a hard time trying to understand and change a girl, she's lost her way in short and it's been 3 months, and I've lost hope a couple times, went completely numb and hurt, but here I am back with the strongest faith cause I know God is with me and I will wait even if my battle lasts for a thousand days) God is good guys.

I really loved this song, Recently My family was in a great trouble.when my sister and her husband had accident and died! I can't stop myself from crying and asking why this thing happened? Our team visit to a group of indigenous people to bring them foods, clothing's and goods .after that very overwhelming event, this accident happened..But thanks to LORD, for His faithfulness, He reminds me of how good and loving Father He was ..and this song, brought comfort to us ..We used to trust him no matter what...

this reminds me of when we sang this in church. and the piano reminds me of my mom’s playing. she played keyboard for the praise team, also her clavinova, and organ all throughout my childhood. i miss it 😭 your playing is beautiful!
