17 Most Mispronounced LONDON Tube Names
Показать описание
In this video I'll show you how to pronounce 17 most mispronounced London underground tube stations in British English. Plus, lots of general pronunciation tips and tricks for you to get a better British accent.
In the video I say that London tube names are notoriously difficult to pronounce. There are lots of -hams, -fords and silent letters everywhere. My top list is a mixture of stations that native and non-native speakers get wrong. also, be warned - sometimes there is more than one way of saying a station name. In fact some have 4 different ways! Watch the video to find out.
Also, watch the video to check the top 3 most mispronounced station names and also comment if you have any names that you have difficulty pronouncing or you would like to know the pronunciation of. You can tell me any stories of when you visited London and had difficulty with the place names.
By the way some station names in the video have the second name in brackets - this is just to show that the second part is easier to pronounce - in other words I have focussed on the most difficult names to pronounce.
