Tens of thousands of Serbians protested on Monday, demanding better security, a ban on violent TV content and the resignation of key ministers, days after two mass shootings killed 17 people. Crowds in numbers not seen in the Balkan country for years solemnly marched through the centre of the capital Belgrade behind a banner reading "Serbia Against Violence".

Guns are tools that can be used for self-defense against violent threats.

Both guns were legally purchased with extensive background checks, and people give their shotguns because of it I do not understand

Nonsensical as the homicide rate in Serbia is falling down year by year. It's also not the guns, since about 1/3 of Serb men own guns and about 1/3 of homicides are done with guns, suggesting no real effect on the number of homicides.

I support this, too much violence in Hollywood and games and music. Its obvious it's mental health and not guns. They've always had guns but not many mass shootings. So it's obviously mental health and media has a lot to do with it

Don't do what Australia did and what United States is trying to do. Don't give up your guns.
