This presentation has helped me to understand more about migraine. I have had Aura/without migraine, for 19 years. These migraines started about 5 years after having head trauma from an altercation with my husband's sister. She pulled my head forward(Whiplash). From what you have discussed, I believe that I could have had an underlying Genectic mutation prior to this Head Trauma, because prior to this onset, I never had an aura or history of severe migraine. I did begin having Panic Attacks. I do remember as a child having poor balance and coordination, difficulty learning new things, and swimming caused me tension around my eyes as a result of the water, sun, and wind. I remember having pain around my eyes, after swimming. I was 39 years when I had my first episode of an Eye Aura/No migraine. It was very scary. My older Sister informed me that she has severe Migraine, without Aura. She also had a siesure as a child. My Grandmother took her to a Chiropractor. After that, she never had another siesure. In the past year my symptoms have gone from feeling drained to seisure-like Symptoms.I have been seeing a Chiropractor for almost a year. The Vertigo has gotten much better, but no relief from the Eye Auras. From all that you have discussed, I believe it was triggered by the Head Trauma. I live in the USA. Can you recommend a testing site in Southeast Ga? Thank you for this information.

My entire Family suffers from MA and my Daughter has Epilepsy (onset at 12) Would love to get this genetic testing for myself and my daughter.. WHERE DO I get that done?
