My grandfather Pierre died yesterday.

He was one of the brightest minds I've ever met. Curious and passionate about everything until the very last minute.

I could never thank him enough for what he did for us, and for all the things he taught me.

We'll miss him so much

There's a bitter-sweetness to constantly coming back to a song with such meaning. And then you stop, you choose to not listen to it or you forget about it, and then you come back and it is very close to the feeling that it initially gave you, mixed with a bit more time, experience and rewired memories. That initial spark is there. Music like this provides the most value to some of our lives.
