Their mom was an Aspect of Justice. A judicator/judge so to speak. She passed down her sword (a big sword which was a combination of 2) and likeness of her powers to both of her daughters. While Kayle took her role to heart, purely justice and immediate punishment; Morgana was more lenient, empathetic, eager to know why the sinners did their acts, and help them reform. Morgana threw her blade away, bound her wings in chains, and chose to walk among those that need her guidance. Kayle took her sister's blade, now having both pieces of the great sword, remained in the sky to rule above them.

We can see in their interaction that however angelic Kayle appears, mortals are afraid of her presence. To them, she is the end-of-all-things. While Morgana, having a darker, evil appearance, is considered their Savior and Redeemer. Morgana appears this way because her powers contradict her ways. She rejects her powers and therefore it gets corrupted. If Morgana chooses to be by her sister's side once again, hers will look the same as Kayle's

So happy to see both added to the rift. As someone who is fond of both angels and looks forward to their future reconciliation, I wanted to share a quote from one of the writers for their rework on each sister's greatest merit and flaw: "Kayle's worst flaw - her self righteousness and ability to blind herself to her own flaws and mistakes. Kayle's best quality - her idealistic desire to do good in the world and protect innocents. Morgana's worst flaw - her inability to let go of past mistakes. Morgana's best quality - the empathy she feels for all sinners, regardless of their crime."

So Wild Rift is introducing the sisters of justice. For those who never played the original League, you guys are in for a treat:

Kayle is the very definition of Hyper-Scaling Carry. She's frail and vulnerable early on. But her main mechanic of ascending each time you level her Ultimate transforms her into a powerhouse if you're not too far behind. This is a huge risk/reward given this type of game but she's definitely a strong team Win-Con. She evolves into a deadly, rapid-attacking Marksman with dangerous On-Hit, Area-damage Effects and her iconic Ultimate giving herself or an ally total invincibility for a short duration is amazing peel despite it messing up her dps. However she's definitely designed as a Late-Game Win-Con and can be countered pretty hard Pre-Level 6.

Morgana is primarily a Support-Mage. Her CC through her Binding is considered the strongest in the game. There's a reason there are so many memes of players geting AFK-Warnings cause Morgana landed a Q. Her Black Shield is extremely good as it blocks magic damage and shields from crowd control. Her pool is a dangerous AoE Damage-over-time zone and with the right itemization will melt anyone unfortunate enough to have been caught inside it. Her Ultimate has potential to stun an entire team if done right but given that's reliant on a Flash>Q>Zhonya's play you'll mostly use it in Conjunction with Q for locking down targets. She's a powerful CC-Heavy Support and combos well with other CC enablers like Lux. (This particular duo has been the bane of Bot-Lanes due to the power of the double-bindings)
