After 27 years of phenomenal music, incredible energy and amazing people, Space Ibiza celebrated its last ever opening fiesta. Whilst it was a bittersweet day, no one was ready for tears. The party was all about celebrating a club that island and music lovers alike have made the pilgrimage to year after year.

Erick Morillo, Dennis Ferrer, Wally Lopez and Camilo Franco rocked the open-air stage, Pig&Dan were right at home on the Sunset Terrace and Paul Reynolds was in 'old-school classics heaven' in El Salon.

We danced with the masses to Hector and Javi Bora in the legendary Terraza and raved in the main room to Technasia, Edu Imbernon and Roger Sanchez before Erick Morillo - the unofficial master of the house - returned to the booth, sending us home in the wee hours of the next day excited for the summer ahead.

It will go down in history as one of the finest.

See you at the closing #27spaceibiza

Great to see all these big Dj's paying respect to the legend Erick Morillo. Ibiza won't know what it's lost until Space has gone

Haven't had the car park experience, but thought space was pants compared to the likes of pacha, just no class. Flip side, ushuaia, and others lime it are killing Ibiza..

& what will happen now? EDM is taking over? I was reading that the club that is taking over the space is hosting Aoki and Guetta...they can't be serious about it...turning the temple of the electronic music into the shitty place...
really sad
