Valkyria Chronicles Remastered - Walkthrough Part 5-1

This part is about Welkin getting his squad to trust him, despite being so new, and shows Rosie's issues with Darcsens. This'll create a lot of tension between her and Isara.

The battle itself is a step up from before, having a lot more enemies and more tanks to deal with. Luckily most of the tanks are inactive, so you can deal with the ones on standby at your leisure. You still get points for destroying them.

Which is something I forgot to mention, you're graded at the end of every mission. The biggest contributing factors are kill count and turn number. Basically kill all the things as fast as you can if you want more points, which means more EXP. If you ever have trouble with EXP though, there are Skirmishes you can grind on as much as you like.

Also this stage has quite a few bases which we dealt with before but I never talked about. The bases can be taken by any footsoldier so long as there is no other enemy soldier of the opposing side at the base. Bases will provide ammo refills every turn for units that stop in them and can be used to send units back into reserve and to call out more units. This is good for moving units with low AP or removing units you no longer have a use for in the battle for someone more capable.
